Responsible for contributing to productive customer relationships as well as following Best Practice in all administrative and technical activities. *Key responsibilities* * Inspect, perform service, troubleshoot (preventive maintenance, safety checks, corrective actions, upgrades and refurbishment) on the following equipment: Forklifts, Knuckle Boom Cranes, Loaders, Liftgates, Hooklifts, Skiploaders & Hoists in line with Managers instructions * Follow applicable safety rules, agreed working practices and environmental requirements * Staying up to date with technical developments as shown in internal service bulletins and completing technical courses when instructed by District Service Manager * Respond to customers queries and concerns to maximize customer satisfaction & follow Hiab Customer Satisfaction Guidelines * Keep adequate records, maintain documentation & submit daily reports in the format specified by the District Service Manager * Recognize sales opportunities and communicate to District Service Manager * Coach/tutor junior colleagues and trainees as necessary * Conduct self at all times in a way that promotes a positive image of the Hiab brand and follow rules of the Quality System *What we are looking for* * Ability to obtain and maintain a 1-year DOT Medical Card is required for this position * Valid Drivers License is required * No more than one moving violation in the last year, or two violations within a two year time frame. All violations will be reviewed * High School diploma or equivalent is required * 5+ years of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical operations * Appropriate diagnostic and troubleshooting skills * Own tools required * Know, understand and comply with Hiab USA, Inc.
