We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic team at the Allegheny Family Connection Center, located in Pearland, Texas. This full-time, remote role involves providing critical mental health support to individuals within our detox facility, aiming to enhance patient outcomes and foster recovery.

Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments of patients to evaluate their mental health status, identifying strengths, needs, and challenges that influence recovery. \n
- Utilize evidence-based treatment modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to facilitate individual therapy sessions. \n
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop integrated care plans and participate in case management discussions. \n
- Assist patients and their families in understanding complex diagnoses, treatment pathways, and medication regimens to empower informed decision-making. \n
- Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy, engaging clients in therapeutic practices that emphasize recovery and skill-building. \n
- Develop comprehensive treatment plans alongside the treatment team, incorporating patient goals and evidence-based practices to tailor care effectively. \n
- Advocate for patients’ rights and assist them in navigating the mental health system to secure necessary resources and support. \n
- Lead therapeutic groups and psychoeducation sessions, as well as participate in discharge planning meetings to prepare patients for ongoing recovery. \n
The ideal candidate will primarily work with individuals facing addiction and mental health challenges within the detox environment. Our focus is on compassionate, individualized care, where we empower clients to pursue recovery and develop coping strategies for long-term success.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution. \n
- Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas. \n
- A strong foundational knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment techniques, and crisis intervention approaches. \n
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills. \n

- Experience in a detox or substance abuse treatment setting is preferred, enhancing ability to address unique challenges faced by this population. \n
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and tracking patient progress is advantageous. \n
