Overall

Oversee RFID manufacturing operations , lead the production team, and support automated production processes. This position is responsible for ensuring the efficient production of RFID tags, labels, and inlays while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and productivity. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment management, process improvement, and experience working with automated production machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production operations and ensure manufacturing schedules are achieved.
• Lead and support production operators to meet quality, safety, and productivity goals.
• Oversee automated manufacturing equipment used in RFID tag, label, and inlay production.
• Troubleshoot equipment and production issues to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
• Monitor production metrics and implement process improvements to enhance performance and reduce waste.
• Perform preventive maintenance activities with Engineering teams.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and safety procedures.
• Support new product introductions, production setup, and process validation activities.
• Train operators on equipment operation, work instructions, and best manufacturing practices.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to meet production objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and problem-solving methodologies.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (or currently pursuing) in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
• No less than 3 and no more than 7 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Previous supervisory or team lead experience.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production flow, and equipment management.
• Hands-on experience with automated production machinery and manufacturing equipment.
• Experience troubleshooting equipment and improving production efficiency.
• Experience in RFID, electronics manufacturing, labels, printing, packaging, converting, or roll-to-roll manufacturing environments is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, or Continuous Improvement methodologies is preferred.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to analyze production data and make data-driven decisions.
