THE ROLE

We are hiring an experienced Site Superintendent to lead an active commercial construction project. This is a project-based assignment requiring travel and the ability to be on-site for up to 12 months. You will be responsible for the daily leadership of the project site — managing schedule, subcontractors, safety, and quality from groundbreaking to closeout. This is not a support role. You will own the site.

WHAT DEFINES SUCCESS IN THIS ROLE

1. Schedule Ownership You maintain a live, accurate schedule using Microsoft Project. You sequence subcontractors to maximize efficiency and hold them accountable to commitments. Delays don't happen on your watch without a plan to recover.
2. Budget Discipline You read cost reports fluently and understand how field decisions affect the bottom line. You find ways to protect the budget without cutting corners.
3. Safety Leadership You conduct thorough orientations with every worker on site. You lead weekly safety meetings — not as a formality, but because you set the culture. You enforce Or-OSHA standards and Y&C's safety policies without exception.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 10 years of commercial construction superintendent experience Ability to travel and work on-site for up to one year (project duration) Proficient in Microsoft Project for scheduling Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specification books Strong communication skills with subcontractors, owners, and the Y&C project team
