Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Telemetry to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to telemetry patients within a 20-bed unit of all private rooms.
• Monitor patients' cardiac status using portable and hardwired telemetry monitors.
• Collaborate with medical team including physicians, pharmacists, and respiratory therapists.
• Administer medications and perform Point of Care Testing (POCT) such as blood sugar monitoring.
• Participate in patient education and support patient and family-centered care initiatives.
• Document nursing care using EPIC and follow all charting requirements.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in West Virginia; valid driver's license required.
• 1+ year of travel nursing experience, with charge or precepting experience preferred.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Proficient in EPIC charting system.
• Experience in telemetry or stepdown units with knowledge of dysrhythmia interpretation.
• Ability to float to comparable or lower acuity units such as med/surg when needed.
