Associate Veterinarian

Job Description

Job Description

What if your next veterinary role offered room to practice good medicine, develop your clinical interests, and still have your evenings and weekends to yourself?

This full-time small-animal opportunity could be a strong fit if you want a dependable schedule without giving up clinical variety or the support of an experienced veterinary team.

You'll join an established community practice with a loyal clientele, experienced colleagues, and veterinary technicians who play an active role in patient care. Whether you're early in your career or ready for a new professional home, there's room to bring your strengths to the table.

What You'll Find Here

• Predictable time off: No evening or weekend shifts, giving you more consistency outside the hospital.
• Production without negative accrual: Quarterly production compensation rewards your work without a negative-accrual structure.
• Support for early-career doctors: Structured mentorship is available for new and recent graduates.
• Clinical variety: Continue building your skills across general practice, with opportunities to explore areas that interest you.
• A team-based approach: Work alongside experienced veterinarians and support staff who contribute meaningfully to patient care.
• Investment in your development: Continuing education support helps you keep learning throughout your career.

What You'll Be Doing

This is a small-animal general practice focused on preventive care and comprehensive wellness, with opportunities in dentistry, internal medicine, and soft-tissue surgery. The role also involves routine examinations, diagnostics, treatment planning, and communication with pet owners.

The goal is thoughtful, well-rounded general practice—not simply moving from appointment to appointment.

Who Might Love This

This could suit a new graduate looking for guidance, an experienced veterinarian who values collaboration, or a clinician who wants to pursue professional interests while maintaining a more predictable routine. A DVM, VMD, or equivalent degree and a Utah veterinary license—or eligibility to obtain one—are required.

The Basics

• Schedule: Full-time; no evening or weekend shifts
• Compensation: Base salary plus quarterly production, with no negative accrual
• Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision coverage; HSA options; PTO rollover and paid holidays; paid parental leave; CE allowance and paid CE days; professional dues and licensing support; AVMA PLIT coverage; 401(k); personal pet discounts
• Mentorship: Structured support for new and recent graduates
