• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' substance abuse histories, mental health conditions, and social needs.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that address both addiction and co-occurring mental health issues, ensuring interventions align with best practices.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Collaborate closely with other treatment team members to provide integrated care, ensuring comprehensive support is available to each client.

• Educate and engage clients’ families, enhancing their participation in the recovery process and fostering supportive environments.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records as mandated by healthcare regulations, ensuring all documentation is complete and accessible for treatment continuity.

The primary focus of this position is to support individuals struggling with substance use disorders and associated mental health conditions. You will work with clients of varying backgrounds—tailoring your approach to respond effectively to differing gender, age, cultural, and socio-economic factors that influence treatment outcomes. Your empathy, dedication, and therapeutic skills will be instrumental in aiding clients to develop effective coping strategies and reclaim control over their lives.

• A valid and unrestricted professional license as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or PsyD.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Current knowledge of evidence-based practices for substance abuse treatment and an understanding of co-occurring disorders.

• Proficient therapeutic and counseling skills, with a proven ability to motivate clients toward recovery.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills, demonstrating the ability to work effectively within a collaborative setting.

Preference will be given to candidates with specialized training or experience in addiction counseling, including familiarity with therapeutic techniques that focus on both mental health and substance use.
