Contract | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a busy community Adult and Pediatric Emergency Department
• Manage a patient assignment within a 27-bed Emergency Department, typically at a 4:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Care for a broad range of diagnoses and acuity levels, including stroke patients, in a high-volume community ER setting
• Fulfill weekend shift commitments as scheduled, with approximately 5–6 weekend shifts per scheduling period
• Observe required holiday coverage, including one major and one minor holiday

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (required)
• ACLS certification through the American Heart Association (required)
• PALS certification through the American Heart Association (required)
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
• Experience with both Adult and Pediatric Emergency Room patients

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a stroke center or high-volume community emergency setting
• Ability to adapt to fluctuating patient census and occasional 5:1 staffing ratios during peak periods
