Fri-Sun 7a-7pDiagnostic Imaging: Perform high-quality X-Ray and CT scans according to physician orders and established department protocols. Patient Care: Prepare and position patients, explain procedures, address patient concerns, and ensure physical and mental comfort. Contrast Administration: Start IV lines and administer contrast media (dyes) to enhance the visibility of internal organs and tissues. Radiation Safety: Adhere to ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) principles, utilizing shielding and maintaining proper distance to minimize exposure. Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily quality control (QC) checks, maintain a sterile/clean environment, and report any equipment malfunctions. Documentation: Record patient history, document scan parameters, and input examination data into EMR and PACS systems.
