Job Details\n \n Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 - $2,010 \n Setting: Emergency Department / Emergency Room (ER) \n Location: Richmond, VA 23226 \n Start Date: 8/31/2026 \n Contract Length: 16 weeks \n Shift: 12-hour night shifts \n Shifts Per Week: 3 \n Hours Per Week: 36 \n Schedule: Every other weekend and major holiday coverage required \n Unit Size: 30 beds plus 14 Fast Track beds, with additional hallway beds as needed \n Job Requirements\n \n Active RN license in the state of practice or compact license \n Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department RN experience required \n Experience with conscious sedation required \n Current BLS and ACLS certification required \n CPI / de-escalation training required \n EPIC experience preferred \n Ability to pass an EKG exam during orientation \n Experience caring for patients across the lifespan in a high-acuity clinical setting \n Copy of nursing diploma required \n Responsibilities\n \n Provide safe, compassionate, evidence-based nursing care in a fast-paced emergency care environment \n Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments, triage patients, and prioritize care based on acuity \n Administer medications and treatments in accordance with clinical standards and nursing practice \n Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary support staff to coordinate patient care \n Support patients and families through urgent and emergent health situations with strong communication and clinical judgment \n Respond quickly to changing patient conditions and participate in stabilization and resuscitation efforts \n Maintain a calm, professional presence in a high-stress emergency department setting \n Promote patient safety, quality care, and efficient patient flow throughout the Emergency Department \n \n Apply now for this Emergency Department RN travel nursing job in Richmond, Virginia, and join a collaborative healthcare team today!
