About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to take on a pivotal role in leading all finance and accounting operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing a wide range of activities, including accounting, finance, tax, and treasury operations. This role involves overseeing the preparation of financial statements, capital account reporting, and investor reporting packages, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and managing external audits. The CFO will also be tasked with building and scaling the financial infrastructure to support the firm's growth, implementing financial systems and processes, and providing strategic financial insights to guide decision-making. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' of fund accounting experience, with a preference for those with a background in real estate or structured credit. A CPA or CFA is preferred but not required. The role requires a candidate who can effectively manage relationships with auditors, fund administrators, custodians, and legal counsel, and who is adept at coordinating with compliance and risk teams on regulatory obligations. The CFO will be expected to monitor cash balances, arrange fund-level debt, and ensure proper expense allocations and valuation policies. The ability to build and scale financial infrastructure, as well as to implement financial systems and technology for efficiency and scalability, is essential.
