Daily Responsibilities Include: Conduct routine inspections and testing of fire alarm and security systems Inspect smoke detectors, motion sensors, alarm panels, and related equipment Replace batteries and perform preventative maintenance services Troubleshoot minor system issues and identify potential concerns Complete accurate digital inspection reports and service documentation Utilize software platforms including Sedona and BuildingReports Communicate professionally with customers on‑site Coordinate with internal service and support teams as needed Maintain organized records and follow inspection procedures carefully What We’re Looking For Preferred Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Previous experience in fire alarm, low voltage, electrical, or security systems work preferred NICET or IPSI certification is a plus Willingness to obtain industry certifications if not already certified Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently in the field Professional communication and customer service skills Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Ability to pass a background check Launch a Stable Career in a Growing Industry The fire and life safety industry continues to grow, creating strong long‑term opportunities for dependable technicians who want to develop specialized skills and advance their careers.
