Travel Physical Therapist - $2,057 per week

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for an immediate opening in Lakewood, Washington. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel The right PT should have at least 1 year of experience; for an exceptional candidate with an appropriate background, 6 months may be accepted. Responsibilities Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians) Bill within the setting, following facility billing guidelines Understand the PT board’s rules and regulations, and comply with state licensing requirements Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team‑focused plan of care Understand adaptive equipment Evaluate and create a plan of care Modify plan of care as indicated based on the patient’s condition Use Medical Center computer systems in performance of daily tasks Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines Requirements Must have 6 months of experience; new graduates are encouraged to apply. Must have BLS and state‑specific licensing. Physical therapists should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, and bend, lean or stoop without difficulty. PTs must have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
