Key Responsibilities\n

• Design and deliver tailored mindfulness-based interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), to assist clients in managing stress and promoting relaxation.

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to identify clients' unique stressors, personal challenges, and therapeutic goals, customizing mindfulness practices accordingly.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions that incorporate mindfulness techniques, meditation practices, and breathing exercises to enhance emotional regulation and self-awareness.

• Organize and lead group workshops focused on mindfulness practices, stress management, and resilience-building, creating a supportive community for participants.

• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of client progress, mindfulness interventions, and treatment plans to ensure consistent and effective care.

• Collaborate with fellow therapists and healthcare providers to integrate mindfulness seamlessly into the overall treatment approach, fostering a holistic therapeutic experience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Counselor), or LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) in New York State.

• Proficient knowledge in integrating mindfulness techniques into therapeutic practices.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
