RN Med Surg

Schedule: - Shift: Day Shift, 0615 to 1845 - Days: 3 days per week

Assignment Details: - Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week - Contract Length: 6 weeks

Requirements: - Minimum of 5 years of Med Surg or Emergency Room experience required. - Current RN license in good standing required. - Current AHA BLS certification required. - Current ACLS certification required or completion at next available course within 3 months. - Current PALS certification required or completion at next available course within 3 months. - Cerner EHR/EMR experience required.

Roles & Responsibilities: - Provide patient care within the RN scope of practice and in accordance with physician/provider orders. - Perform comprehensive patient assessments and evaluate the care provided. - Monitor patients for changes in their condition and report abnormal findings to the appropriate provider. - Administer medications, IV therapy, oxygen therapy, and other treatments accurately and in a timely manner. - Educate patients and families about disease processes, treatment plans, and care management. - Collaborate with providers and support interdisciplinary patient care.
