Regional Production Director (Events)

About the Role: Oversee all production activities in the assigned region, ensuring each event aligns with the company’s standards and brand identity. Develop and implement production strategies with Regional and New Ventures managers, aligning with overall goals, regional market trends, and business objectives. Evaluate feasibility and potential risks for all regional projects; collaborate with Production Leads to clarify partners’ needs, review expectations, and adapt processes as required. Work with senior leadership to develop budgets for regional productions and ensure efficient allocation of resources across multiple events and locations. Supervise planning and execution of all projects within the territory. Ensure event timelines, production schedules, and logistics are managed from pre‑production to wrap‑up. Collaborate with technical, creative, marketing, and finance departments to guarantee seamless operations. Guarantee all productions meet creative and technical standards, comply with local labour laws, industry standards, and health & safety regulations. Provide on‑ground leadership to address technical or operational issues and minimize impact. Lead a regional team of production managers, technical directors, coordinators, and staff; mentor, evaluate performance, and manage budget trade‑offs. Negotiate contracts with vendors, suppliers, and venues to secure favourable terms. Serve as primary point of contact for key stakeholders, clients, and partners within the region. Enforce inventory and storage processes across teams. Identify and assess new opportunities for live entertainment productions, including venues, partnerships, and collaborations. Continuously monitor regional trends and adjust strategies to meet evolving audience expectations. About You: 15+ years of leadership in live events, immersive experiences, or attractions with end‑to‑end production accountability. Proven success managing multi‑market teams and complex event portfolios. Strong leadership presence, able to influence cross‑functional teams and senior stakeholders. Financial acumen, vendor negotiation expertise, and experience managing multi‑million‑euro budgets. Extensive network of reputable vendors and freelance talent. Exceptional communication skills; fluency in English. Thrives in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments while maintaining detail orientation and strategic clarity. Solution‑oriented mindset with the ability to anticipate issues and lead teams through complex challenges. Collaborative, humble, adaptable, and comfortable working hands‑on when needed. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally and operate across time zones.
