RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 4 ten-hour shifts with rotating days off from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
/n• 40 hours per week guaranteed
/n• Day/Evening shift schedule
/n• Mandatory call requirement with on-call responsibilities
/n• Washington State RN license or Compact license required
/n• Active BLS and ACLS certifications required
/n• Preference given to candidates who can both scrub and circulate
/n• Required to float as a sitter and may float in rotation
/n• Communicate and collaborate with healthcare team members including physicians, patients, and families
/n• Coordinate and provide high-quality patient care using nursing process and unit-specific standards
/n• Collect patient information, complete holistic assessments, and respond appropriately to patient status changes
/n• Develop, implement, and reassess individualized patient care plans
/n• Administer medications and complete nursing procedures and treatments
/n• Provide patient and family education with written materials
/n• Evaluate discharge planning for appropriateness and educational needs
/n• Document care provided, assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately
/n• Handle emergency situations promptly and professionally
/n• Must function within Washington Nurse Practice Act guidelines and maintain current knowledge of legal nursing aspects
