Maintenance Technician

Maintenance TechnicianThe Maintenance Technician at EIG Services LLC is responsible for keeping our residential homes operating and repairing any problems when they are discovered before they have a chance to worsen. A Maintenance Technician will usually be required to perform various repair tasks for several sites and work with the Fleet Manager on general vehicle maintenance. We foster a collaborative environment and provide our staff with opportunities to develop their skills and career goals.Job ResponsibilitiesOversee and manage the maintenance of company vehiclesWork with contractors to ensure the timely completion of projectsTroubleshooting and making routine repairs in the following areas: painting, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.Asses and propose when to contact external contractors for repairs.Landscaping and Snow RemovalResolve and Complete work orders on time.Must have your essential toolsMust be able to use a smartphone, email, text, and complete electronic work ordersOther building maintenance items as neededJob RequirementsMinimum 2-year experience in a similar position requiredHigh School Diploma or equivalent experienceValid Driver's License and personal vehicle for company business.Plumbing knowledge to address leaks, clogs, or other drainage problems and determine when a contractor is needed.Basic electrical wiring capabilities to manage problems with the building's electricityCarpentry ability to handle basic repairs around the buildingGroundskeeping for location that contains lawns or other outdoor areas in need of maintenanceInterpersonal skills to interact with employees or residents in a pleasant mannerAttention to detail to ensure that all jobs are completed in an exemplary manner and any potential hazards or warning signs of problems are not overlookedPhysical stamina to handle a full shift of being active and working on the buildingCompensation: $20.00 - $30.00 per hourWe are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
