As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.89 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed06:30 AM - 02:30 PMThur06:30 AM - 02:30 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location. Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting protocols. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, entrances, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs and incident reports. Communicate observed hazards, maintenance concerns, and unusual activity to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements: Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience. Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military, and/or corrections experience. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
