Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Job Summary:
The Surgical RN provides specialized nursing care to patients undergoing intraoperative procedures in a high-volume surgical environment. This role involves supporting a wide range of surgeries utilizing advanced technology within a Level III trauma center.

Responsibilities:

• Administer perioperative nursing care to patients during surgery, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Assist surgical teams by preparing surgical equipment and managing sterile techniques.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to intraoperative changes.
• Document all patient interactions and surgical procedures accurately.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless surgical processes.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Colorado RN license or Compact RN license in good standing.
• Demonstrate current BLS and ACLS certifications through American Heart Association.
• Possess at least 3 years of relevant surgical nursing experience.
• Show proof of current flu vaccination.
• Exhibit excellent clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
