Responsibilities The Divisions of Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery, Metabolic and Abdominal Wall Reconstructive Surgery, Breast and Melanoma Surgical Oncology, and Endocrine Surgery are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work as part of a collaborative team. The role provides 24/7 inpatient coverage and involves comprehensive assessments of patients, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, diagnosing, prescribing pharmacologic agents, and providing non‑pharmacologic therapies. FTE: 0.8–1.0. Shifts include weekdays, weekends, weeknights, and occasional holidays. Schedules are collaboratively built to support work‑life balance. Compensation ranges from $128,000.00 to $179,000.00, with eligibility for shift differential and additional benefits. Qualifications Masters in Nursing or related field and graduation from an accredited NP program. Current Minnesota RN license and certification (ANP, ACNP, or FNP, DNP) or eligibility to be certified. Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA certification by the NCCPA and registration as a PA by the Minnesota State Board of Medical Practice. Eligibility for DEA registration. Schedule & Employment Details Full Time, Exempt position. No international assignment. Shifts: 6am–6pm weekdays and weekends, 5pm–7am weeknights, 1–2 holidays per year, weekends every 4–6 weeks on a variable schedule.
