Locums - Jamestown, New York, OB/GYN Hospitalist Job

Clinical Role:

• Locum tenens job opening
• Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible OB/GYN
• ASAP coverage needed
• Maximum of five consecutive 24-hour shifts
• 24-hour in-house Laborist call (8:00 a.m. - 8:00 a.m.)
• No clinic responsibilities at this time (may change in the future)
• Cover labor and delivery, hospital consults, inductions, and cesarean sections
• Hospital is now the only delivering facility in the immediate surrounding counties
• Approximately 2.5 deliveries per day
• Average of two admissions per day
• Average inpatient census of five
• Midwife coverage Monday-Friday with weekend backup available
• APP support available
• Physician call room located in Labor & Delivery
• Laborists are required to remain on-site during the entire shift
• High-risk patients are co-managed or referred to Maternal Fetal Medicine
• Patients under 35 weeks gestation are transferred to Buffalo or Erie unless delivery is imminent
• EMR: EPIC
