Job Opportunity: Civilian Pain Management Physicians

We are seeking dedicated Pain Management Physicians to join our team as independent contractors at our facility located at Nellis Air Force Base, NV. This full-time position is open to U.S. citizens.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Educational Background:
  • A doctoral degree in a relevant field is essential. Candidates must possess either a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or a Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.).
  • For Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) candidates, the degree must be from a program accredited by the Council on Chiropractic Education (CCE). If obtained from a foreign institution, it should be substantially equivalent to accredited U.S. programs, validated by passing the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners (NBCE) Parts I, II, III, and IV.
  • M.D. and D.O. candidates must have graduated from an accredited medical school in the U.S. or Canada, recognized by relevant medical education councils. Foreign medical degrees must be equivalent to U.S. standards, as shown by certification from the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) or successful completion of the U.S. Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) or the Comprehensive Osteopathic Medical Licensing Examination (COMLEX).
• Residency and Fellowship:
  • M.D. and D.O. candidates must have completed a residency in Family Medicine, Anesthesiology, Neurology, or Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA). This training should encompass a broad spectrum of medical disciplines.
  • The first year of residency must include supervised clinical experience across various specialties. Note that these requirements do not apply to D.C. candidates.
• Experience:
  • A minimum of three years of full-time clinical experience in the relevant field within the last five years is required.
  • At least two years of documented experience in integrative medicine modalities for which the candidate is trained or certified is necessary. M.D. and D.O. candidates should also demonstrate proficiency in myofascial techniques and integrative therapies, including trigger point injections and acupuncture.
• Certifications:
  • Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS are mandatory.
  • Documented training from the National Foundation for Integrative Medicine (NFIM) or a similar accredited organization in therapies such as acupuncture, myofascial release techniques, and shockwave therapy is required for M.D. and D.O. candidates.
• Board Certification:
  • M.D. and D.O. candidates must hold board certification from an appropriate American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) board. Candidates should be specialists in anesthesiology, physical medicine and rehabilitation, or neurology, with fellowship training in managing acute and chronic pain, including interventional procedures.
• Licensure:
  • A current, full, active, and unrestricted medical license to practice in Nevada is required.

Working Conditions

The typical working hours for this role are from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with no on-call duties required. This position offers a unique opportunity to work alongside our active-duty military personnel.
