Operations Manager

Job Description Job Summary The Operations Manager of LTL Brokerage Services will be responsible for the sales, pricing, and operational development of the LTL brokerage business. This leader will play a key role in building and developing a team that both sells and executes transportation services that create value for customers, complement existing capabilities, and drive strong revenue and profit growth. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Lead, train, schedule, and manage team members while fostering a positive and accountable work environment. Drive team performance to support annual goals and objectives. Promote a service-focused culture that encourages collaboration, strong morale, and teamwork. Support the growth and professional development of team members. Oversee daily operations and ensure established procedures and best practices are followed. Maintain strong relationships with customers, carriers, shippers, and internal team members through effective and timely communication. Develop creative transportation solutions that add value for both existing and prospective customers. Identify opportunities to expand business, improve processes, and strengthen operational efficiencies. Qualifications Transportation, logistics, or supply chain experience. Experience in business development, sales, highway transportation, and brokerage operations. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and general data entry. Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS). Familiarity with carrier compliance and insurance monitoring platforms, such as RMIS, is a plus.
