GI Hospitalist (Advanced Endoscopy) Opportunity in Illinois

Carle Health is seeking an additional BE/BC GI Hospitalist to join our Gastroenterology department at Carle Health Methodist Hospital in Peoria, Illinois.

Opportunity Details

Inpatient consults and Inpatient procedures for Gastroenterology
- Annual consult volumes: Pekin Hospital-180, Proctor Hospital-228, Methodist Hospital-528
- Annual procedure volumes: Pekin Hospital-80, Proctor Hospital-124, Methodist Hospital-553
Schedule is 25 weeks (175 shifts) per year, Monday-Sunday, 24-hour coverage, in-house from 7a-7pm; shifts will include holidays as part of the normal schedule rotation
Full time Advanced Practitioner support for daytime coverage
24/7 hospitalist program is responsible for adult and pediatric inpatients
EPIC EMR
Triage calls for GI and round on patients at all three hospital campuses
EUS procedure, plus ERCP
Participate in biweekly colorectal tumor boards
Carle Health Methodist Hospital is a 349-bed Level II Trauma Center that has been ranked #23 in the state of Illinois for patient outcomes

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $800,000 - $805,000. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
