SHIPPING CLERK

Monday - Friday

8:00 am - 4:00 pm

$17.00 per hour

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Prepare, package, and label products for shipment according to company and customer requirements.
• Verify shipping paperwork, including bills of lading, packing slips, and carrier documentation.
• Pick, stage, and process customer orders accurately and on time.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
• Track shipments and inventory movements using barcode scanners and warehouse management systems.
• Inspect outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with safety standards.
• Coordinate with production, warehouse, and transportation teams to meet shipping schedules.
• Communicate with carriers to schedule pickups and resolve shipping-related issues.
• Maintain organized shipping records and inventory documentation.
• Assist with general warehouse operations and other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or logistics experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret shipping documents, labels, and work orders.
• Experience operating forklifts and material-handling equipment preferred; certification or ability to obtain certification required.
• Basic computer skills and experience with inventory or warehouse systems preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
