Therapy - RRT

Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT)

The position is for a Respiratory Therapist working three 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. Weekday shifts and some weekend shifts are required, with floating to different units as needed. Candidates must have experience in critical care, general care, and be capable of working with adult and pediatric populations. Candidates with less than one year of experience may be considered, including first-time travelers. Weekend coverage is required. Flu vaccination is mandatory unless there is documented medical proof of an allergy. Candidates must complete a fit test prior to starting. Transportation may be required to complete the fit test. All required documentation must be submitted prior to the start of the contract process. Complete compliance with health and safety protocols is expected. Referencing two managerial or charge nurse evaluations from the past two years is necessary. Experience with charting systems, including any community hospital experience, is preferred. Strong competencies in adult critical care procedures, emergency protocols, and troubleshooting high-pressure alarms are essential. Special equipment knowledge such as BiPAP, CPAP, and various airway management techniques is beneficial.
