Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations for a variety of body parts according to standard protocols.
- Position patients, apply shielding, and adjust technical factors to ensure optimal image quality and patient safety.
- Operate digital X-ray systems, acquire images, and submit studies for radiologist interpretation.
- Verify patient identity and imaging requests; document exams accurately and maintain required records.
- Monitor and respond to patient needs during imaging procedures; communicate clearly with patients and health care team.
- Adhere to infection control, radiation safety, and quality assurance procedures; participate in equipment checks and routine maintenance as directed.

Requirements
- Current credential to practice radiologic imaging in the United States; licensure or registration as required by state
- Post-secondary education in radiologic technology or equivalent training
- Ability to work a 4-night shift and maintain reliability for a 40-hour schedule
- Demonstrated accuracy in patient positioning, imaging technique, and radiation protection
- Effective communication skills and ability to work within a hospital imaging team
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-volume imaging environment
