Requirements

• Required certification: Cath Lab Tech
• 1+ years of experience
• Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years minimum required 2. Cases: Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath lab procedures including cardiac stent placement, diagnostic catheterizations, IABP placement/removal, interventional catheterizations, left and right heart catheterization, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI) 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS required 4. License: NC or Compact license pending OK for submittal 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic 7. Shifts/Call: 5x8 Days (06:45-15:15) Mon-Fri; call one day per week and every fifth weekend; occasional late days 4-5 days per month 8. RTO: Up to 7 days auto approved (no holidays); must work 2 of 3 major holidays; no RTO during first week; all RTO must be pre-approved; cannot request additional RTO after signing 9. Returning Staff: Former Novant/New Hanover employees must wait 12 months before applying; disclosure required with hospital name/dates employed at submission; facility approval needed 10. Travel/Local: Local candidates (50 miles): lower rate applies 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Non-billable, expect 2-10 hours 13. Travel Experience: Not required 14. Scrubs: Provided 15.
