Direct Support Professional

Location Yorkshire, Celina, OH, 45822, United States Employee Type Non-Exempt Overview We’re seeking compassionate and dependable individuals to join our team and make a meaningful impact in the lives of the people we support. As a Direct Support Professional, you will assist individuals in living independently, achieving personal goals, and enhancing their overall quality of life. Key Responsibilities Provide direct care and support to individuals in their homes. Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Support individuals in developing and maintaining independent living skills. Provide transportation to appointments, community outings, and activities. Administer medications and monitor health conditions as required. Maintain accurate and timely documentation and records. Complete all required training modules and certifications. Communicate effectively with individuals, families, and team members to ensure consistent, high-quality care. Schedule Asleep Overnight Position – Over midnight hours are paid at $11/Hour (10 pm – 6 am), awake hours $15. Schedule: 10 pm – 8 am, 7 days on 7 days off; Wednesday – Thursday 10 pm – 8 am, Friday 10 pm – 9 am, Saturday – Sunday 9 pm – 9 am, and Monday – Tuesday 10 pm – 8 am. Week 2 – Monday 10 pm – 8 am, Wednesday 2:30 pm – 10 pm. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Must have a valid driver's license, if driving is required for the position. No more than two minor moving violations in the past 3 years. No major violations (DUI, Careless, Reckless, Serious Speed, Driving While License Suspended, etc.) in the past 5 years. Ability to pass a background check. Possess skills to communicate effectively with clients, families, staff and other customers. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect for individuals' privacy.
