Staff PharmacistImmediate need for a talented Staff Pharmacist. This is a 06+ Months Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Newburyport, MA (Onsite). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.Job ID:26-32823 Pay Range: $64.8/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).Key Responsibilities:Interpret and compound physicians' prescriptions and dispense medications within regulatory guidelines.Consult with customers regarding medication use and potential drug interactions.Counsel patients and resolve complex issues related to their medications.Perform first and second verification of prescription orders and conduct drug utilization reviews.Communicate effectively with patients and prescribers, fielding inquiries and addressing concerns.Key Requirements and Technology Experience:BS in Pharmacy or PharmD.RPh license required.Attention to detail and excellent patient care skills.Proficiency in computer systems and software relevant to pharmacy operations.Our client is a leading health insurance industry and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar contract positions.
