Occupational Therapist (OT) - NICU

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience, specifically in NICU settings, and be dedicated to providing exceptional care to our youngest patients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients in the NICU.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapy interventions for patients, ensuring optimal care and recovery.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
• Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current OT licensure in the State of Texas.
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with a focus on NICU.

Schedule

Days: 06:45 AM - 02:30 PM, with a patient case load of one OT and one ST in NICU. Each patient on the OT caseload is seen three to five times per week.
