Senior Medical Courier
Labcorp
Labcorp seeks a Senior Medical Courier for Charlotte, NC to transport medical specimens and lab supplies across assigned routes. The role involves flexible scheduling with potential weekend rotation, vehicle floater coverage, and training responsibilities for new drivers.
Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver medical specimens and lab supplies on assigned routes
- Provide on-route training and mentoring to new couriers and drivers
- Manage daily pickup schedule using handheld electronic devices
- Handle specimens and lab samples following safe protocols
- Evaluate traffic patterns and weather conditions to optimize delivery efficiency
Requirements
- 3+ years of driver or courier experience
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- At least 21 years of age
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- High school diploma or GED (preferred)
- 1+ year customer service experience (preferred)
