Key Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience as a CVOR Tech in a clinical or hospital setting
• Proficient in assisting with cardiovascular surgical procedures and maintaining sterile fields
• In-depth understanding of CVOR instrumentation, equipment setup, and safety protocols
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist or relevant CVOR credential highly preferred
• Strong communication abilities to collaborate efficiently with surgeons, nurses, and other medical staff
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering constantly to healthcare regulations
• Flexibility to respond to evolving patient and surgical team needs in a fast-paced environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons and operating room staff during cardiovascular and thoracic procedures
• Prepare and organize surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment specific to CVOR surgeries
• Ensure strict adherence to aseptic and sterile techniques throughout the operative process
• Monitor inventory and facilitate efficient restocking of supplies for seamless procedural flow
• Support patient safety and comfort before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Participate in team debriefings, room turnover, and quality assurance measures
