Delivery Trainer, RSR

Description This full‑time Delivery Trainer position requires in‑role training at an operating site for 5+ weeks, followed by on‑site training at a station 50+ miles from the home location. All travel for training will be booked and paid for by Amazon. Key Responsibilities Facilitate daily training classes for up to 30 people, including in‑station classes and drive‑alongs. Partner with Delivery Service Partners, Operations Managers, Area Managers and Learning Teams to coordinate, facilitate, and measure training‑related activities. Provide timely and accurate reporting on completion of trainings, compliance, safety and maintenance duties. Educate and audit driver safety and compliance standards such as driver vehicle inspection reports, hours of service, trip planning and safe road driving practices. Track and monitor performance including on‑road ride‑behind to measure quality, adherence to standards and identify re‑training and process improvement opportunities. Drive, maneuver and load/unload a truck as scheduled using approved equipment. Lift up to 49 pounds, stand and walk during shifts up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach. Work outside and drive motor vehicles over the road, stay connected to the operation by participating in on‑road processes. Motivate, coach and provide feedback to Delivery Associates during training. Travel to multiple sites within 50 miles of the home station and operate a vehicle up to 26,000 pounds. Basic Qualifications 1+ years of Microsoft Office experience. High school diploma or equivalent. Work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights and holidays. Can lift up to 49 pounds and perform physical duties for up to 12 hours. 40‑hour work week with overtime as required. Valid and active driver’s license, 21 years of age or older, eligible to drive in accordance with DOT requirements. Must obtain and maintain a Driver Qualification File. Authorized to work in the United States. Preferred Qualifications Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree or prior Amazon experience. Demonstrated problem‑solving, analytical and communication skills. History of meeting or exceeding departmental goals. Experience leading teams and delivering training to individuals and groups. 2+ years of professional driving experience. Knowledge of instructional theories and adult learning concepts.
