Key Responsibilities: 

• Focus on Carrier Compliance, Rates, Contracts and Logistics Billing 
• Logistics Strategies related to Vendor Pick-ups 
• Responsible for the development and implementation of processes and procedures improving service strategy and cost control plan of the business for entire operations 
• Ensure freight carriers comply with company policies, regulatory requirements, and performance standards 
• Establish and maintain KPIs for carrier performance, including on-time delivery, safety, and adherence to contract terms. 
• Manage relationships with carriers to ensure ongoing compliance and service quality. 
• Work with the Finance department to structure contracts that are financially beneficial and aligned with company objectives. Strong negotiation ability (Carrier, Customer, Margin Integrity) 
• Coordinates with other operational resources, developing the strategic and tactical direction for all locations, establish management processes and metrics for performance and be accountable for financial performance of the Logistics business. 
• Work within and implement company policy as outlined in the companies Code of Safe Practices, Standard Operating Procedures and OSHA Safety rules 
• Partner with the distribution and procurement teams to streamline vendor pickup operations, balancing cost efficiency with service quality. 
• Design and implement efficient logistics strategies for vendor pickups, optimizing transportation schedules and routes. 
• Adapt vendor logistics strategies to evolving market conditions and company needs, continuously seeking opportunities for cost reductions and operational improvements.
