Position: Shuttle Dispatcher
Location: Denver International Airport
Shift: Shifts will vary
Pay range: $20 - $21/hr

The Shuttle Dispatcher supports daily shuttle and transportation operations by overseeing dispatch workflows, guiding the dispatcher team, and ensuring consistent, reliable service delivery. This role acts as the senior point of contact during the shift, providing support, coaching, and problem-solving while maintaining real-time oversight of shuttle movements, driver activity, and service levels. The Dispatcher ensures that all dispatch functions run smoothly, service standards are met, and communication across all operational teams remains clear and efficient. 

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and coordinate shuttle bus operations using dispatch software, GPS systems, reports, and two-way radio communication. 
• Provide directions to dispatchers to ensure proper vehicle assignments, route coverage, and on-time performance. 
• Assist with predicting shuttle movement, arrival times, and service flow based on available tools and system data. 
• Adjust service levels based on passenger volume, peak periods, and operational demands. 
• Step in to perform dispatch duties directly when needed. 
• Serve as the senior dispatcher on duty, supporting the dispatcher team during all shifts. 
• Train new dispatchers on systems, procedures, and communications protocols. 
• Provide ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and guidance. 
• Support the Supervisor/Manager in enforcing policies, procedures, and safety expectations. 
• Assist with shift handoff communication and continuity planning. 
• Maintain constant communication with drivers, maintenance staff, customer service, supervisors, and management. 
• Relay service adjustments, route changes, or special instructions to drivers. 
• Report on vehicle issues, delays, or incidents to maintenance and leadership. 
• Support customer service teams with information related to shuttle arrivals, delays, or service updates. 
• Prepare and review daily operations reports, logs, service performance documentation, incident notes, and staffing records. 
• Ensure accurate recordkeeping for operational audits, compliance, and service-level reporting. 
• Track and document equipment issues, driver performance concerns, and route deviations. 
• Operate shuttle vehicles as needed to support service, cover staffing gaps, or reposition fleet vehicles. 
• Assist with emergency situations, special events, or service interruptions. 

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Prior experience preferred. 
• Strong knowledge of dispatch systems, fleet operations, and route scheduling. 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced operations environment. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and dispatch software tools. 
• Familiarity with operational devices including radios, computers, tablets, and GPS systems. 
• Working knowledge of ADA transportation requirements (ADA 1990 and amendments). 
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to stay calm and organized under pressure. 
• High level of teamwork, integrity, and reliability 

REQUIREMENTS:  

• Minimum 2+ years of recent transportation, dispatch, or shuttle operations experience. 
• Over 21 years old 
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record (required for operational driving duties). 
• Must successfully pass a background check, in accordance with company policy and applicable laws
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and able to provide documentation verifying eligibility, as required by the Department of Homeland Security. Reimagined Parking participates in the E‑Verify program to confirm employment eligibility.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:  

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while monitoring operations. 
• Occasional bending, lifting, or moving supplies or equipment up to 25–40 lbs. 
• Ability to walk across parking facilities, garages, and operational sites as needed. 
• Ability to safely drive and maneuver shuttle vehicles. 

WORKING CONDITIONS:  

• Fast-paced operational setting within parking facilities, shuttle operating areas, and dispatch centers. 
• Frequent exposure to outdoor weather conditions (heat, cold, rain) depending on location. 
• Constant radio communication and multitasking in a dynamic transportation environment. 
• May require working evenings, weekends, holidays, or rotating schedules to support 24/7 operations.
