WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive nursing care within a state-operated residential intermediate care facility serving individuals with mental illness, physical disabilities, behavioral health needs, and developmental disabilities in Clinton, NJ

Job Function:

• Shifts: 8hr Shift | 6am to 2:30pm | 2:00pm to 10:30pm
• Serve as a Charge Nurse, Staff Nurse, or Assessment Coordinator within a residential healthcare setting.
• Provide direct nursing care to residents with mental, physical, developmental, and behavioral health needs.
• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments, including full body assessments and mental status evaluations.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
• Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, social workers, residents, and family members.
• Supervise and support paraprofessional and non-professional nursing staff.
• Direct and coordinate nursing care activities during assigned shifts, ensuring appropriate staffing, supplies, and equipment.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Monitor resident conditions, administer medications, and perform treatments in accordance with nursing standards and facility protocols.
• Participate in infection control, quality improvement, risk management, and other specialty nursing initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations, facility policies, and professional nursing standards.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate interventions, including CPR and AED use.
• Perform a wide range of clinical procedures, including IV therapy, wound care, catheter care, medication administration, specimen collection, respiratory treatments, enteral feeding support, and ventilator care.
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings, resident care reviews, and ongoing care planning activities.

Job Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the New Jersey State Board of Nursing
• 2+ years of experience preferred
• Experience providing nursing care in long-term care, residential, behavioral health, developmental disability, rehabilitation, or similar healthcare settings preferred.
• AHA BLS
