You will be responsible for team performance, project delivery, and client relationships, while collaborating with Transportation Team Leads across other regions to share resources, align practices, and support firmwide growth.This is a doer-seller role where you will contribute technically, lead strategically, and help expand RETTEW’s presence in the transportation market.Responsibilities / Day-to-DayLead, coach, and develop a team of transportation engineers and project managers within Region 1Partner with the Regional Director to set team goals, monitor performance, and support regional strategyCollaborate with Transportation Team Leads across other regions to align standards, share resources, and balance workloadOversee project delivery, ensuring quality, efficiency, and client satisfactionServe as a technical advisor and, when needed, project manager on complex or high-profile projectsBuild and maintain strong client relationships, supporting retention and repeat businessSupport business development efforts, including proposals, client engagement, and identifying growth opportunitiesManage team workload, staffing, and financial performance to meet operational and revenue goalsFoster a collaborative, accountable team culture aligned with RETTEW’s core valuesQualificationsRequired:Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related fieldProfessional Engineer (PE) license in Pennsylvania12+ years of experience in transportation engineering, including project managementDemonstrated experience leading teams and managing performanceStrong understanding of transportation design, including roadway, traffic, and/or PennDOT projectsProven ability to build and maintain client relationshipsPreferred:Experience working across multiple offices or regionsActive involvement in professional organizations such as ASHE or ITEExperience contributing to business development strategy and growthWhat We OfferCompetitive salary based on experience.
