License: Active RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS required Must-Have: Pediatric experience Description: This position involves working in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit, which is a highly skilled environment with a 1:1 nurse to patient ratio. Nurses are responsible for monitoring and managing patient airways, pain levels, vital signs, and other post-surgical needs. The role requires collaboration with a team to ensure patient satisfaction and safety during their stay. On-call requirements include nights, weekends, and holidays, typically one night a week. Candidates should be prepared to float to units with similar or lesser acuity as needed. The emphasis is on delivering a positive experience for patients through the use of advanced surgical technology and equipment. Pediatric experience is essential for this role.
