Family Medicine with Obstetrics Physician Show Map Location 46 Fairview Ave,Skowhegan, ME, 04976,United States Employee Type Full-Time Exempt Job Title: Family Medicine with Obstetrics Organization: Redington-Fairview General Hospital (RFGH) – Joining, Skowhegan Family Medicine Redington-Fairview General Hospital (RFGH) is seeking a full-time Family Medicine Physician with Obstetrics experience to join our dedicated and patient-centered Family Medicine Team at Skowhegan Family Medicine. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician who values comprehensive rural medicine, enjoys building meaningful patient relationships, and wants to make a lasting impact in a supportive community. Position Overview As part of our established practice, you will provide full-spectrum Family Medicine, including prenatal care and obstetric deliveries, while caring for patients across all stages of life. You will join a collaborative team of seven experienced Family Medicine physicians, ensuring strong peer support and shared patient coverage. Practice Highlights Employed position with a stable, respected healthcare organization Full-spectrum Family Medicine with Obstetrics Practice located at Skowhegan Family Medicine, on the main hospital campus, serving a vibrant rural community Shared call schedule with seven Family Medicine physicians Cross-coverage with seven Family Medicine physicians for team-based patient care Full hospitalist service in place Opportunity to develop long-term relationships with patients and families Qualifications MD or DO with completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency program Eligible for medical licensure Ability to provide obstetric care and deliveries In-patient newborn and pediatric hospital services Board certification or board eligibility in Family Medicine Must obtain board certification within the timeframe established by the appropriate specialty board Commitment to patient-centered, community-focused care Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits including health insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, CME allowance, malpractice coverage, and potential relocation assistance.
