Locum Tenens Physician Assistant (PA) - Surgery - Cardiothoracic

Position Type: Locum Tenens
Specialty: Physician Assistant - Surgery - Cardiothoracic
Location: Silverdale, WA.
Shift: M-F and Call (1-2 weekdays and weekends); Night call starts at 5:00 PM and goes to 7:00 AM

Position Details:
Patient Population: Adult 100%
Setting: Office/Clinic 5% and Hospital 95%
Responsibilities: Cardiothoracic Surgery coverage including OR assistance, patient management in acute care and ICU settings, rounding, and clinic support
Required Procedures:

General CV/thoracic surgery open
Coronary artery bypass surgery on pump
Valvular repair
Valvular replacement

EMR System: EPIC

Support Staff:

Office ancillary staff: RN Navigators, MAs
Physicians in practice: 2
Midlevels: 4

On-Call/Weekends: Yes

Submission Requirements:

Certified PA Required
WA license Highly Preferred (will consider provider obtaining license during credentialing)
Clean Malpractice/Background Highly Preferred
Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation Required
