Are you a skilled, hands-on professional with a passion for improving lives? Join our Urbandale team as a

Mobility Access Installer. We specialize in providing top-quality home accessibility and mobility

solutions—including wheelchair ramps, stairlifts, grab bars, and porch lifts—for veterans, the elderly, and

individuals with disabilities across the Greater Des Moines area.

In this role, you will be the face of our franchise, delivering and assembling life-changing equipment right

to our clients' doorsteps. We are a locally owned, family-oriented, and veteran-friendly business dedicated

to making homes safer and more accessible.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation & Assembly: Efficiently assemble and install residential accessibility products (modular

aluminum ramps, stairlifts, grab bars, vertical platform lifts) according to company standards and safety

regulations.

• Home Evaluations: Assist in conducting precise in-home measurements and structural assessments

to determine optimal equipment layout for clients.

• Customer Relations: Interact warmly and professionally with clients, veterans, and caregivers. Provide

detailed walk-throughs on how to operate equipment safely.

• Logistics & Dispatch: Follow scheduled dispatch routing throughout Urbandale and surrounding

central Iowa communities to meet appointment windows timely.

• Safety & Fleet Maintenance: Maintain an organized service vehicle stocked with designated hand and

power tools. Keep work sites exceptionally clean and safe.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: Prior background in carpentry, residential construction, remodeling, HVAC, or mechanical

assembly is highly preferred.

• Technical Aptitude: Proficient with basic power tools, precise tape measurement, and reading

schematic layout instructions.

• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 100 lbs comfortably, climb ladders, and execute outdoor

installations through seasonal Iowa weather changes.
