Physical Therapist - PRN

Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to assess strength, range of motion, balance, coordination, posture, and muscle performance. Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results and clinical guidelines. Administer manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and other modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and heat/cold therapy. Educate patients and their families on techniques for continued recovery, injury prevention, and healthy lifestyle practices. Monitor patient progress, adjust treatments as needed, and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with professional standards and regulations. Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, athletic trainers, and other healthcare professionals. Supervise and instruct physical therapy assistants or aides when applicable. Ensure a safe and clean treatment environment. Stay updated with current physical therapy practices, research, and innovations. Requirements Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent from an accredited institution. Current and active license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state in which the job is located Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or willingness to obtain). Strong interpersonal, communication, and time management skills. Compassionate and patient-centered approach to therapy. Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and documentation standards. Over 1 year of experience in a clinical or hospital setting is required. Experience in a specialized area such as orthopedic, neurologic, pediatric, geriatric, or sports therapy is a plus. Must be able to pass all necessary health requirements for hospital employment, including drug screening and background check.
