The pay rate for this position is $22.71 per hour.Why work at Eaton?Health benefits and vacation timePaid holidaysCareer progression opportunities to cross-train in different departmentsOvertime opportunitiesRetirement benefitsPaid Parental LeaveEducational Assistance Program, Wellness Reimbursement, and more!What You'll Do:This position will be responsible for inspecting products to ensure they meet company and customer quality expectations.In this function you will:Perform part and product inspections, document the results, identify and quarantine Non-Conforming (NC) partsDetermine the Root Cause of Non-Conforming PartsVerify First Article Inspection (FAI) of all production linesPerform Control and Process audits as scheduledReport inspections and audits using Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and WordCreate Quality Alerts and notify operators of quality issuesInvestigate Non-Conforming Product, use problem-solving techniques to resolve issuesContribute to pre-production quality planning, including developing Quality Assembly documents, attending product and process reviews and technical training of production personnelSupport Manufacturing Engineering in machine capability studies for new and existing machinesSupport Gage Calibration SystemComply with and ensure department compliance with Company health, safety and environmental policiesQualifications:Required (Basic) Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED required from an accredited institutionNo relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate area of the Richmond, VA facility (50-mile radius) will be considered for this position.
