Dining Services plays an important role in supporting the health, well-being, and daily experience of our students, faculty, staff, and guests.Position SummaryReporting directly to the Dining Services leadership team, the Cashier / Stocker is responsible for supporting dining room operations, customer service, product merchandising, inventory replenishment, and point-of-sale transactions.Key ResponsibilitiesGuest ServiceGreet students, faculty, staff, and guests professionally.Operate point-of-sale systems accurately.Answer questions regarding menu items and ingredients.Merchandising and StockingStock beverages, snacks, grab-and-go items, and retail products.Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs.Maintain attractive and organized displays.Dining Room OperationsAssist with dining room cleanliness.Replenish service stations and condiments.Support meal periods and special events.Physical RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for extended periods.Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.Ability to work in hot, cold, and fast-paced kitchen environments.Ability to perform repetitive motions and operate commercial kitchen equipment safely.QualificationsCustomer service experience preferred.Food Handler Card required.Basic cash handling and POS experience preferred.Compensation and BenefitsComprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, retirement contributions, professional development opportunities, and tuition remission benefits.Salary range: $20/hr–$26/hr annually, depending on experience and qualifications.While being vaccinated for COVID-19 is not required, it is strongly recommended
