Schedule/Shift

Shifts are available for 10-hour days, typically from 07:00 AM to 05:00 PM. Call requirements include one night of call per week and one weekend of call per month, with a response time of 30 minutes.

Job Description

The CVOR Technologist will be an integral part of the cardiac surgery team, assisting in various procedures including CABG, valve repair/replacement, and ECMO. The role requires experience in cardiac surgery settings and familiarity with EPIC charting software. Technologists will onboard at Ruby before moving to Berkeley Medical Center.

Responsibilities

• Assist in cardiac surgical procedures, ensuring sterile techniques and protocols are followed.
• Prepare and maintain an aseptic environment in the operating room.
• Support clinicians during complex cardiovascular procedures.
• Document surgical procedures and patient data accurately in EPIC.
• Participate in required on-call duties.

Required Experience

• Strong experience in cardiac, thoracic, or vascular surgery.
• Previous travel experience is preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current BLS certification (AHA).
