Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate is confident, coachable, quality-driven, and eager to work in a progressive practice that values workflow efficiency and an elevated patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments using dental terminology and medical documentation standards.
- Diagnose dental conditions through clinical evaluation and medical imaging techniques.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients of all ages, including pediatric dentistry when applicable.
- Conduct various procedures such as dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and other restorative treatments.
- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure proper documentation of treatments performed.
- Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to prevent cross-contamination within the dental practice.
- Educate patients on oral health maintenance, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless patient care delivery and uphold the clinic’s standards of excellence.
Requirements
- Valid state dental license with eligibility to practice as a General Dentist.
- Experience in general dentistry with additional skills in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, or medical imaging is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability in patient care and patient assessment with excellent communication skills.
- Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and medical records management.
- Prior experience working in a dental clinic or dental office environment is highly advantageous.
