Assistant Teacher in Montessori School

Associate Responsibilities Play a supporting role in the classroom under the direction of trained Montessori teachers and work amongst a team of teachers. Maintain a safe, clean, and tidy classroom environment in accordance with Montessori philosophy. Provide basic care and active supervision of young children as needed. Engage in positive redirection to children and maintain a positive learning environment. Communicate with parents as needed on routine matters regarding the health and care of students. Associate Requirements Minimum Required: CDA or Associate’s Degree, or some college coursework. At least 18 years of age. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Human Development). Benefits Competitive compensation.
