Job Title: Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: NM License Certifications: RRT, BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - No holiday requests for December starts - Must work 2 out of 3 holiday bundles (Thanksgiving & the day after, Christmas Eve & Christmas Day, NYE & NYD) - Floating to general pediatrics is required as needed by the unit - COVID vaccination required (religious and medical exemptions accepted with completion of form signed by provider) Description: This position requires experience in trauma, emergency room, adult ICU, adult floor therapies, and airway management. Responsibilities include medication administration, ventilator management, arterial blood gas interpretation, oxygen therapies, and pulmonary hygiene. The average daily census is 6-10 ventilators. Weekend requirements are no more than 3 weekends in a 4-week schedule period. This facility is a Level I Trauma Center and offers acute care. Clinicians must have strong skills due to a busy trauma environment. Floating to general pediatrics may be required as needed. Preferred certifications include NRP and PALS. All applicants must have trauma Level I experience. Applicants with pending licenses are accepted. No local candidates are accepted within a 100-mile radius. RTO restrictions apply; greater than 7 days needs approval. Total staffed beds in the facility are 554. Preferred scrub color is royal blue. Charting is done using Cerner and Midas/Care Port.
